With leadership, administrative, and operations teams based in this location, the new 52,000-square-foot headquarters was envisioned as an inspiring destination, one that would encourage employees to return to the office, strengthen culture, and help attract and retain top talent.

Rather than emphasizing traditional corporate branding, the design centers on Ventura Foods’ core identity: food. As a company that produces sauces and dressings for some of the most recognizable brands in the industry, Ventura Foods sought a workplace that celebrates their craft without placing their own name front and center. The building’s abundant natural light, 360-degree views, and campus amenities provided an ideal foundation for an open, welcoming environment. Lower-panel workstations maximize daylight and visibility, while a wide range of meeting spaces and amenity areas support flexibility, collaboration, and choice.

The design language is clean, modern, and refined, layered with subtle references to Ventura Foods’ manufacturing and culinary expertise. Natural stone, light wood grains, polished concrete, and stainless-steel accents bring warmth and durability, while selective pops of blue nod to the company’s logo. A new interconnecting stair encourages movement between floors and serves as a key architectural feature. In the reception area, a two-story digital display showcases the brands Ventura Foods supports and the scale of their operations, creating a powerful first impression for employees and visitors alike.

Food-focused amenity spaces play a central role in the experience. The primary breakroom was designed to emulate a café, reflecting the hospitality environments Ventura Foods helps create, while a hospitality kitchen on the upper floor draws inspiration from a test-kitchen setting. Architectural lighting throughout the space subtly echoes conveyor belts and production lines, reinforcing the company’s behind-the-scenes role in food manufacturing without being overt. Artwork commissioned through Ventura Foods’ longstanding sponsorship of MenuMasters is thoughtfully integrated throughout the office, creating curated moments that reflect the company’s deep connection to the culinary world.

The completed headquarters delivers a sophisticated, engaging workplace that aligns spatial experience with culture, craft, and collaboration – supporting Ventura Foods’ evolving way of working while honoring the expertise that defines the brand.

Design: Hendy
Contractor: KPRS
AV: AVISPL
MEP: WSP
Photography: Adrien Tiemens

The post Ventura Foods Offices – Irvine appeared first on Office Snapshots.

Ventura Foods relocated its California headquarters from a fully occupied six-floor office in Brea to a more intentional, two-floor workplace designed to support a modern, hybrid workforce.
